Sunset Strip

The Strip connects almost every other location in this archive — the Troubadour, Riot House, the Whisky a Go Go, all a short, winding drive from Laurel Canyon. In the late 1960s it was the main road between the music and the rest of the city.

It still is, in a way. This is the drive Anat made, more than once, while chasing down the real geography behind the novel's fictional one.
